Great Lakes Diving School Policies

Great Lakes Diving understands that changing your mind after purchasing our lessons can be an uncomfortable experience, but at Great Lakes Diving we strive to make the process simple and straightforward.

We think you'll agree that Great Lakes Diving has the best refund policy in the industry.

  • You have 61 days from the date of invoice to request a full refund on your credit card, or refund by check, as long as you have not started the course.
  • Then, we give another 61 days (122 days from the date of invoice) to request a credit.

When it comes to textbooks and accompanying items, Great Lakes Diving will inspect them when you return them, as long as you haven't used them you can return them for a full refund. If for some reason (including medical ones) you decide diving is not for you once you start in the pool or lake, we will refund all but the cost of textbooks, accompanying items and site fees, we won't even ask why you've changed your mind.

To request a refund you may either bring the textbooks to our classroom where we will be happy to help you, or you can return the item by mail.

In order to process your return, please follow the guidelines below.

Non-returnable items:

Site fees … we would have already paid them on to someone else.

Mail exchanges and returns:

Great Lakes Diving will accept returned textbooks and accompanying items by mail if returned pursuant to the above terms and in a well-padded box. In fairness, we will expect you to pay the shipping and handling charges.

Credit:

Great Lakes Diving reserves the right to issue a credit for any reason, at any time, at our discretion.

Great Lakes Diving reserves the right to deny any refund.
