January 12, 2009 wasn’t just another bitter winter day in Milwaukee. It was the day I started The Scuba Diver Store. 

To most Wisconsinites, I must have seemed pretty crazy to start a scuba dive supply shop in the frozen Midwest, but scuba diving is what I love and I saw an opportunity to offer something divers everywhere would appreciate: An online dive shop offering discounted scuba gear and a refreshingly honest approach to doing business. 

Joined by a few of my best dive buddies, who also happen to be Instructors and Dive Masters, I immersed myself in building The Scuba Diver Store into a one-stop source for everything divers could possibly need including something other online stores just can’t offer: Friendly, expert advice on every piece of scuba and snorkeling gear in the store. You can count on us for unbiased opinions based on our own personal experience with the diving equipment we carry. We value honesty and fairness in everything we do. Judging by how our online scuba gear sales have grown over the years, our customers share these values. 

No matter how small your purchase, every customer matters to us. If you have a question or need a recommendation on scuba wetsuits, scuba tanks, the best scuba regulator or any other diving gear, give us a call. We’re not some massive online enterprise you can only communicate with via email (although you can email us, too!). Remember, we also run a brick and mortar dive shop in Milwaukee where customers come for diving gear, so being able to interact with a real person matters to us, too. We’re available Monday through Friday, from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. CST. If you get the phone message, we’re probably on the line with another customer or uncrating a fresh shipment of scuba equipment. Just leave a message and we’ll call you back. Scouts honor. 

We are always looking to expand the scuba and snorkeling gear we offer, but we err on the side of caution. If it’s not something we’ve tried and believe in enough to spend our own hard-earned money on, we won’t carry it. If by some chance you don’t see what you’re looking for on our website, just let us know.
